Biographical Notes
This is possibly Cato, who was mentioned in Rattray "Geneaologies" p. 253: "...Each daughter in the Hand family on her marriage had a bureau, a table, six chairs, linen, silver, china, a cow, six sheep, and a man servant given to her. Rebecca's man was old colored Cato." Rebecca Hand married David Conklin in 1795.
