Biographical Notes
Possibly the same enslaved Dinah listed as joining the church during the time of Lyman Beecher (East Hampton Town Records v. 5, p. 449). Dinah is listed on the same line as a Ned, who is identified as a freeman. Dinah was the mother of Sabra, on Oct. 12, 1803. Dinah Barns died in October, 1834 in Freetown. (East Hampton Town Records, v. 5, p. 621)
