Biographical Notes
I, Abraham Miller, one of the judges of the Court of common pleas, in and for the said county, do hereby certify that Isaac Plato, a black man of East-Hampton, in the county aforesaid, about forty-seven years, and about five feet nine inches high, hath exhibited satisfactory proof to me, that he was born free and that he is now a free man, according to the laws of this State. Abraham Miller. Abraham Parsons, Town Clerk.
