Per Dorothy Zaykowski, a "July 24, 1821 newspaper" published the following "runaway" advertisement: "Ran away from the subscriber on Wednesday the 14th, a colored me by the name of Isaac Prime, a slave, nearly six feet in height. Had on when he went away, a new blue broadcloth round-about and pantaloons of the same. Also on Sunday the 18th, Prince Prime (PRIN5), brother to Isaac, who was clothed in a blue jacket and trousers of the blue broadcloth and a red flannel shirt, about five feet ten inches tall. Both belonging to the estate of Samuel H. Jessup, deceased. Any person lodging either [or] both of them in the county jail, or returning them to James Post, administer, will be amply rewarded for their services."
