Biographical Text
Three young persons and a slave returning to their home in Wayunscott...were drowened when they nearly reached the shore. From Huntting in EH Town Records v.5, p564: This day Francis Noyes, aged abt. 17 years. A daughter of Steph. Hands, aged abt. 14 years. A daughter of David Fithians, abt. 7 years & a negro lad of Joseph Strettons, going home over Georgike from meeting, were drowned just as Yy got over, ye canoe looking and sinking.
