Notes
Johnathan Jagger of Southampton reports that he purchased Pegg (PEGG7), "a mulatto servant woman," from Captain James Reeve, and that he will manumit her in five years time from the 1797 contract date.
Jagger further writes that Pegg's daughter Tamer, however, who was one year and six months old at the time the contract was signed, will stayed indentured to him until she is 30 years old. The contract signature was witnessed by John Youngs.
