On the 1850 census, Henry's occupation is listed as "Laborer." He is not listed on the 1865 East Hampton census. Henry and Charles (CHAR4), Henry and Esther's son, perished fighting in the Civil War.
Henry is buried in the St. David African Methodist Episcopal Zion Cemetery in Sag Harbor, NY.
